Hula aloha + old money = ???

Today's show taught me one thing that I will get into more in a locked post: money makes people insane. A few days ago on this very blog, I made a comment like, "Good-looking people don't care about looking good in the same way that rich people don't care about having enough money" or something similar (but worded better,) but that's not an apt analogy at all. Many rich people do care very much about their money--especially old money.
What they don't care much about? "The help." Very interesting feeling indeed to have one's "betters" look one over and practically project the thought, "I'll bet she shops at Target."
Yeah? While it's true that I can't afford to winter in Hawai'i, I've made the effort to understand the dance and the culture instead of just parading around my backyard wearing fake grass and giving orders.
Personally though, I did a really good show, and I'm happy about that part.
More later, locked.
