I know this sounds backwards and scary, but if a mob lynched this guy, I totally wouldn't step in to stop it.

Doesn't sound backwards and scary at all. I'd be one of the ones in the mob if I knew for certain that some prick had tormented and killed a little kid. I'm so with you on that.
