I've been at the vet's all frigging day again. Haku went for his follow-up to his surgery and it was great; the Dr. sent him home with a clean bill of health. Not a few hours later he was sleeping in his bed, then he jumped out of his bed just like last time and had another seizure, also exactly like last time.

So I made an appointment for him with a neurologist. The vets all seem to think he has epilepsy but I want to rule out everything else first before I start treating him for it.

IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC IF SOMETHING AWESOME HAPPENED.

Thanks so much; good mojo is good. ^_^

Aww poor birdie. It might have been a wren. They get into buildings through small spaces. They're cute, but retarded.

It was way bigger than a wren. One of my coworkers who knows bird types mentioned what it was but i can't remember. It was black with a yellow beak, maybe the size of a city pigeon or a bit larger, but not as big as a crow. We have HUGE windows with no screens and on the first floor there's an area where they are very close to the ground, so i'm sure he just hopped on in one of those, poor guy. But, he's probably home safe now and telling his buddies about all the fucked up things he saw today. :D

Maybe an albatross?

Haha, let's see, was he black or just really dark gray? Starlings are kinda big with yellow beaks and they are also fairly retarded. :)

Yes, an albatross! So first i hung it around my neck for a while, then we saved it.

But yes. Starling! That's what my coworker said it was and googling, i see that he was right.

God save thee! :)

I like starlings. I shouldn't call them retarded, they're actually very clever, but they get themselves into jams. I had one that I released come back and get stuck in a drainpipe. :/

Most people hate them, but I find them appealing. Glad the little dude got away relatively unharmed and none the worse for his harrowing experience.
