pet shop boys and applications

Well, Thursday the 2nd is my day to bring my application to the college and to go for my interview. It never occurred to me that I might not be accepted, but it does now. Jeez, just don't know what I'd do then. O_O So now I'm nervous.

Today is a good day though. I went to the pet store where there are many cute boys, and they are all so nice to me. Both of them mistook me for early 20's (we were talking about age and metabolism,) and then Nick, the really sweet one (he reminds me of Byers from the Lone Gunmen; he's got a really gentle way about him and he wears black framed glasses) was totally crazy about my t shirt. (It was this t shirt, the "all my base" valentine.) I've always wanted a cute boy to get that t shirt, and he totally got it,thought it was the coolest thing he ever saw and had a geekspasm over it. Then they gave me a discount. "Because you're so cool," they said. Those boys are so sweet; Nick is 29 and looks a hell of a lot younger. I'm buying 5000 worms from my friend Laura tomorrow, so I totally need a new excuse to go back to the Cute Boy Store. ^_^

Also I bought Iron Man and Ludo's CD and a cute towel ring for the kitchen and then I utterly finished my laundry and it's all put away and neat and *sigh!*

Annnnnd, Jo-chan, I hope you know you are coming to visit on Friday? Whoop whoop! FFVII, Iron Man, ice cream? All of the above! ^_^

OH MAN. He managed to articulate exactly WHY I don't ant Palin anywhere NEAR the White House in a way I could never have managed to convey. The very idea that she's THAT CLOSE to president is fucking SCARY.

Dude, I know. The whole thing is mind-bending. The hardest part for me to swallow is that half of the country is going to vote for them anyway.

Because they're republicans in the same manner that they're xians- blindly following the tenets (supposedly) of their faith. To question its viability equates to an attack and makes you the bad guy, hands down. I don't get that mindset either.

I should vote for her because she's a woman? Umm..NO. I would vote for her if she had the experience and reflected my values that ALL people of this country should be taken care of equally, not pick and choose because you only want to help who you feel like at the time. She's is a serious threat to women's rights, she's about as anti-choice in ANY matter as you can get. I don't want that joke of a politician anywhere near where she could basically obliterate people's rights because she's having a bad day.

Can't watch the video, fooey. There's a video out there of her being blessed against witchcraft (over on the Wild Hunt blog). I don't like her. She's scary.

BUT! I'm excited for you to be going back to school!! That's so very awesome and if you are walking up to to the college Thursday and start to get nervous, and suddenly feel ectoplasmic hands gently pushing on your shoulder blades, that will be me saying "Do it! Do it! Do it!" :)
