Crow huggles!

la_belle_laideGuys, i had to drop my birds off at my good friend Laura's house today, because she is Bird Lady and Crow Lady, like, cubed. Way more than I am. ANyway, she is minding them while I go on vaca so I dropped them all off.
Lohi'au hugged me before I left. Well actually, first, when I went to put him into the crate to leave, he freaked out and went "cat" on me. he spread his wings as far as they would go and would not go into the crate.
But then when I got him there and was putting him into the cage Laura has for him, he put his claws in my shirt, his little head on my shoulder, and spread his wings around me as far as they would go. OMG it was so hard to leave him there.
And tomorrow I have to bring the dogs to board. WAHH. Way too quiet in the house!
I am kinda packed, but then not so much, really.
