What I did on my day off:

Ooooh yeah, I rock. And roll. All night long, sweet Suzie! Okay, yeah, we know I can't paint worth a crap, but that's not TOO bad, though. I can do designs semi-all right, and this is more of a sesign on the wall than a mural. (Though I do want to add some cranes above the bamboo. The bird, not the machine.) But aside from adding maybe one or two more little dragonflies (I think you can see them in those pics, but maybe not?) I'm pretty much done with it. DONE WITH IT, I tell you.
Of note: I've been reading Maguire's Wicked lately and I'm enjoying the crap out of it. It just got to a really weird part and I suspect that it will only get weirder, but nothing will make me not love Elphaba. Finally, I character to who I can relate on a lot of levels.
Tomorrow is dolphin-sitting (ugh, four hours bored and frozen, both stiff, thanks,) and then soiree (yeah, later hours of hilarious friends and junk food that this usual-health nut totally deserves.)
If anyone can tell me why my left ovary has been hurting since yesterday, you win a prize. WTF?

Date: 2007-01-28 03:25 pm (UTC)Nahh, I ovulated two weeks ago to the day. You could set an atomic clock by me. I'm starting to think it's something to do with the tremendous abwork we did the other day, although seriously, it doesn't feel like a muscle. It's definately ovary! O_o

Date: 2007-01-29 05:23 am (UTC)I was thinking about going to see it after I finish the book, but I was afraid it might ruin it for me. The book is told without any kind of sentimentality (so far) and musicals are known for destroying that aspect. I'll have to check it out a bit, first.
Sequel? My goodness! How could that possibly be, when the ending is pretty obvious! No, don't tell me, I'll get there myself. :D
