Zombie movie, the whole story

This all started two weeks ago when my training brother David said, "Hey Jules, do you want to be a zombie in a movie?" and I said, "Sure! Who wouldn't?" (I later asked him why he decided to ask me and he said, "It just seemed right." Haha!)
So the movie is called "Hey, You've Got Zombies In Your Back Yard!" and you can see trailer one here and trailer two here. I'm not in either trailer because those were made on a day when I wasn't there. But it was super fun and way more professional than I thought it would be. The makeup alone took about five hours. Well, my makeup actually took about an hour all told, but there was a long time waiting for the latex to dry and all of that stuff. This is me in full zombie makeup.

Pretty creepy, huh?
The film is being written and directed by this guy who is trying to get into film school, and he's really serious about being a film maker. He even had all the equipment and stuff. ^_^ The makeup guy was this guy named Shane, about my age, who works the local haunted house among other things. He had a certain hotness to him, but maybe that was because he had waist-length, silky blond hair, and I think that no matter what I'm always a sucker for guys with long, clean hair. The lead actress, Jackie, is totally funny and personable. We got to chat for a while, and she reminded me very strongly of Janeane Garofalo, who, as we know, is the most awesome person ever. She was nice enough to ask me if I had just graduated college or high school, and when she asked my age and I told her, she said, "That's so cool; I hope I can look as good as you when I'm 33." Which, by the way, I thought she was about 17 but she is actually 25.
One of the other zombies brought his Dad along, and he was in it, too. His Dad and I spent a lot of time while we were waiting for the latex to dry talking about interior design. He actually gave me some really neat ideas and has me considering repainting my living room or maybe my bedroom. O_o Here's David and that guy's Dad zombie'd out:
And the director's Mom was the nicest person ever. She bought us all pizza and garlic knots and cookies and whatnot.
The rest of the cast and crew was hilarious. There's going to be a way too funny gag reel when this is done. One thing I remembered as I was falling asleep last night, which then woke me completely up with giggling hysterically, was the director doing a zombie voice and going, "UUUUUUGGHHHHH ... PEAS AND CARROTS...PEAS AND CARROTS...."
Then it came time to kill, which was fun, and then time to rip up innards amidst spurting blood, which was chocolate sauce with water. David was the one on the ground holding the blood hoses. That stuff spurted EVERYWHERE and by the time we were done, we were all covered in chocolate sauce, which, let me tell you, is a beeotch to get out of your hair. Here are a bunch of zombies between the innard-eating takes:

I left at around midnight, and it didn't take me too long to get all the stuff off, either, which was a good thing. I got to keep the neck wound! How cool is that? I could probably reuse it for a costume someday. All in all, it was really fun, and I can't wait to see the finished product. :)
Peace out, my undead homies.
