Happy Solstice

It always strikes me as so odd that after Solstice, when high Summer begins, the days actually get shorter. Almost doesn't seem fair, like summer is over before it begins.

Kim and Rick came over yesterday and opened up the pool. Jeremy was here, too, and after all of it (it is a long process,) we got pizza and ate in. It was really nice. I had planned to watch a movie later, but Jeremy ended up staying and we talked until around midnight. Good times....
