Woman weds dolphin

British tourist Sharon Tendler has finally made her dream match - by "marrying" a dolphin she has been visiting for 15 years in the Israeli resort of Eilat, the mass-circulation Yediot Ahronot daily reported today.

Ms Tendler, 41, has been visiting the city on the Gulf of Aqaba two or three times a year to spend time with her 35-year-old underwater sweetheart.

"The peace and tranquility under water, and his love, would calm me down," the Israeli daily quoted her as saying.

Last week, Ms Tendler finally plucked up the courage to ask the dolphin's trainer for the mammal's fin in marriage.

The wedding took place on Wednesday, with the bride - wearing a white dress and watched by amazed spectators - walking down the dock to where the groom was waiting in the water.

She kissed him, to the cheers of the spectators and then, after the ceremony was sealed with some mackerels, was tossed into the water so she could swim away with her new husband.

"I'm the happiest girl on earth," the bride was quoted as saying.

"I made a dream come true. And I am not a pervert."

Anyway, I wrote to this guy tonight who seems very nice and interesting.

Work was all right. Glad today is over. Not looking forward to Monday.

I might spend the rest of the evening destroying coloring that picture I drew last night. The more i look at it, the more I actually like it. Strange! And maybe I'll have some ice cream.

I am JONZING for Kung Fu.

Time to take the dogs out.

Hey! Any more news on that personals site? I've been trying a couple sites and am very discouraged with them so far because hey, I don't have $250 a year for membership, nor do I see why I need to pay THAT much just so you'll let me actually send a message to some guy that's not multiple choice!

So yeah, perfectmatch.com doesn't look too promising.

I've been on okcupid.com since September but haven't had much luck. But a guy my age who lives a few miles away, is really cute, and is apparently geeky has messaged me and he seems really neat, so I guess I shouldn't give up just yet. Have you tried okcupid? Could be worth your time. I'm not sure. But at any rate, it's free, and they have fun quizzes.

I would consider actforlove but if your story is at all the norm, the people there are freaky scary. :(

Yeah, I did that one once, This guy, though, he is a local guy and a friend of a friend. Said friend sent me his myspace page, which is really interesting.
