More pics of a mellowed out pack of dogs

Five of my favorite dog pics I took yesterday after work and today.

I'm really proud of my dogs; they are adjusting as well as anyone has the righ to hope. Trisky as a strong alpha to the other dogs and she doesn't take crap, but she's been really tolerant, especially today. I think Sano is just waiting for Haku to get bigger, so that he can run and wrestle with him, and hopefully stop biting his ears and tail. Haku practically hangs off of Sano. Right now Trisky is in her bed and Haku has his chin resting on her butt. Everytime he moves she gives him a look over her shoulder like, "Oh, it's still you. *Sigh!*" But she's not bothering him. She's being a fair alpha to him now.
And today I actually had the opportunity to vacuum the rug, and last night I even cleaned all the bird cages and the papers under the bird cages, so everything's neat and in order, except my laundry which still needs to be folded, but I hate that job more than anything. Honestly, I'd rather scrub the tub of clean the toilet. Or write in LJ, obviously. ;D
I promised myself I'd write today, but just now I had a really cool idea for an excuse not to a drawing I want to do.
Oh, Haku just started chewing on Sano and Sano said, "I'm bored with this" and got up and walked away. Now Haku is sitting there with his tongue hanging out, mid-lick. Dogs are strange creatures.
One creature who doesn't seem affected at all is Pendragon. He gave a look to the puppy the first day I brought him home, but I think now he's so used to dogs going back and forth in front of his home that he doesn't bother reacting to them anymore. I'm glad that he feels secure in there, because last year when I got the sunroom and moved him into it, my concern was that he wouldn't have enough privacy without the blinds covering his cage, but in fact it's the opposite. I think the sunroom is the best thing that has happened in his crazy green life.
Haku is rearranging the beds. I'd better see to this.

Date: 2005-09-29 01:12 am (UTC)Sano is a bucket full of weirdness, isn't he? :)
And Haku is a little cutie. Good, and well-mannered for a puppy, but very willful. Salukis are born with a sense of entitlement. ;)
