Now for some pictures.
I'm not sure why my scanner is throwing so much yellow, though. And as for the line down the left-ish side of each picture, it's always done that.
I fell in love with the baby chickens at work. And look! They taste just like chicken! Kidding. I'm not eating them. I don't even eat them dead. Anyway, there are seven of them, and in that picture I'm holding all of them. They're a lot bigger now, and on Tuesday one of them (the one whose little dark head you can see peeking out of my left hand,) kept on jumping into my arms everytime I opened their cage door, and peeping and trying to follow me if I left. It ends up that the mom chicken and some of the other babies were pecking him, and his back was all bitten up. So, you know, I seperated him from most of the rest, and put the smallest chick in a cage with him. He's doing much better. :)
I took this on my way to work as I crossed rte 105. This is one of the many gorgeous views I get every morning, along with the vast, green fields and tree-lined roads. It makes getting up in the morning somewhat bearable.
A Halloween self-portrait. ^_^
My own self again, and here you can see the rest of the costume a little better. What you can't tell is that most of my hair was silver. Not a very good shot of the wings, either, which I made myself. They came out just as I'd pictured them, only no one managed to get a single good picture of them. Anyway, this was taken at night, at our office Halloween party behind the hospital, where one of the techs lives.
Angel of Death visits Camp Hero in Montauk, and I'm inclined to believe that it's not the first time. ;) That's the radar tower in the background there. We did manage to get all the way up there, and I do have those awesome pictures, but they're for another time. :)
And that is all! ^_^
