Oh, the "angust."

Yan! LQ's got an LJ! Of course, I've *got* to friend her!
I'm a little disappointed; it's mostly boring, except for the part where she's upset that RainWolf (this little kid!) is avoiding her, and she's threatening to ping him, and tell his mom what he's been up to on the 'net! Hello, that's what the "privacy" setting are for. Privacy. "she told me he made his list private. Damnit... More avoidance to cause the situation to become worse. And I told her that if he did not revert the changes... I would get around the block." O_O Creepy.
"And that because he is a minor, that I could end up in some deep shit because of that and he let out that 85% of the people on FurN are actually under age." O_O WTF?! Again with the minors! "Not that I find it a problem... Because this is just a fantasy R/P mainly between the characters in the game..." Gah, just when I think she's hilarious, she turns evil and I get all "grrr." First it was posting her porn stories to little kids, and now it's stalking them in chat. Oh, but that's okay; it's just fantasy. >_< *vomits* "But with all the uncertianity and knowing that FBI and undercover agents are precariously lurking the net... It can make one very weary, cautious and concerned. At twenty four, I surely don't need a damn record attached to me." If you don't have a problem with taking up with minors, then the last thing you need to worry about is FBI. Well, no, that's not true. I guess you do need to worry about the FBI, (and maybe they know already?) but if I suddenly woke up thinking that it was okay to engage minors in this kind of thing, I'd be hella more worried about my sanity.
Oh, what, none of my business? Hello, LIVEJOURNAL!
*Sigh!* So I have to friend her just for kicks. She'll probably friend-lock anything juicy (like if she decides to post more of her fics or whatever,) but then some of her pals will send those on to me. ^_^ Should that happen, I won't write about it here, though. That would be classless. ;D We'll just giggle about it in email and chat. ^___^
Sorry about the rant. I'm really, really sensitive to child abuse issues. I don't even like it hinted at, or dealt with blithely in stories or art. It just seems to me that most adults can (or should be able to) take care of themselves, but kids and animals are sort of helpless and blameless. Well, not all the time, obviously; I mean there are adults who get hurt too, but that just doesn't shred me as much as when it's kids or animals. Maybe it should. Maybe I am evil. ;) But seriously, this blithe, "oh, the guy I was stalking ("yiffing?") ended up being a minor...Gee, I hope the FBI doesn't find out," mentality makes me want to scream, not in a fun way.
And here I came into this hoping that it would be all about her fics and drawing and gaming and I'd have a good laugh over it and her malapropisms. ("Weary." *giggle!* Oh, and read her bio if you get a chance. It's hilarious.)
Well, enough "angust" for today. (Say, isn't that a kidn of sheep? ;D )

Well, tomorrow morning I'm off to another Hula seminar, this one in Orlando. I'm psyched, and I know I'll be much more aloha in a little while. ^_^ Guess I have to go and pack.

Date: 2003-11-15 08:45 pm (UTC)Basically it's just disgusting, and what can you do about that?
Re: teeheehee!
Date: 2003-11-16 03:38 pm (UTC)now if you are going do something about this thing YOU are annoyed with--DO IT, if not please, please just shut up.

So you're basically saying that when you can't change something (i.e., a war you disagree with perhaps, or someone breaking a law far away from you and in secret, say, or a job policy etc,) you shouldn't say anything about it? Tell that to everyone who protests anything. Free speech, you know.
And by the way, hello, my lj? Just because some 13 year old punk tells me not to write something I'm going to listen? It's just silly of you to think that.
Re: teeheehee!
Date: 2003-11-17 06:27 pm (UTC)War and job policy is far from from what ever LQ is doing, if she is doing anything. if one wants to change a job policy, try, but if one cant and one tried their hardest then there is nothing one can do about it. One should stop trying instead of whining about it. If one disagree against a war then one should voice their opinions, in an appropriate manner. You claim she is breaking a law, but you say there is no proof or you/they/whoever cannot prove she is breaking a law. That should be a wake-up call "you cannot prove she is breaking a law". You have been on her case for a long time. If she was really breaking a law you probably would have found some thing saying/signifying she was, then you go to the proper athorities and report her.
also i love how you assume i am a "punk" and i am 13 yrs old. Also, i can tell you are listening to me by your replies.
As you can see i am not stopping you in any ways of you saying what you want. I'm just having a fun debate ^.^

It's funny when someone breaks out the "whining" comment everytime they want someone to shut up. If my tone "sounds" whiney to you, then there's nothing I can do about that, any more than you could change my perception of your tone in your first two posts (that of a rabid 13 year old LQ flunkie.)
You claim she is breaking a law,
Internet laws are still nebulous. I'm claiming that she's being a disgusting pig by harrassing this kid, and cyber-scrumping ("yiffing" in her words,) kids whom she knows to be under the age of consent. Her only problem with that? "I hope the FBI doesn't find out." I put it to you that if LQ is worried about the FBI finding out, even she knows she's doing something wrong.
That should be a wake-up call "you cannot prove she is breaking a law".
Waking up to what, exactly? My claim is that she's disgusting, and that sexualizing kids is disgusting. (That goes for everyone, not just LQ.)
You have been on her case for a long time.
She keeps on finding new and different ways to be disgusting. Just when I think she can't sink any lower, she does. I can only wonder what's next. It's fascinating in a way.
also i love how you assume i am a "punk" and i am 13 yrs old.
It's how you came across.
Also, i can tell you are listening to me by your replies.
I'm hearing you out; why wouldn't I? You don't see me running away from arguments or trying to ban people from commenting. What I meant was I thought it was kind of humorous that you thought you could tell me what not to write on my blog. (Because that's one thing that will never happen.)
As you can see i am not stopping you in any ways of you saying what you want. I'm just having a fun debate ^.^
You didn't sound like you were having fun in your last two comments. ^.^

Date: 2003-11-18 12:38 pm (UTC)Okay, that's fine; I like a good debate, too. But I made a lot of points in my last post there and you didn't debate any of them, other than to repeat what you said before which was:
"Although LQ may be doing something unlawful it is a waste of time and energy going around and harassing(or whatever you do) when you cannot prove it."
The proof is that she said it. When I said "can't prove it," I meant in a court of law, should anyone report her. Sadly, child protection on the internet is really, really lax. Likely LQ can cyber-scrump any and all minors, stalk them, threaten them, scream at them, blackmail them (all of which she has done, by her own admission,) and she'll slide right through the system just like she slid through school. :/
It's more a matter of it being disgusting than it is of it being unlawful, anyway. God but she brings the squick.
But that doesn't mean that I have to stop talking about it. Just because you find it a waste of my energy doesn't mean that I do. How can you tell where my energy belongs? Actually, I always feel a little better after saying what I think and getting it out of my system. So to me, that isn't a "waste" at all. I say my piece, feel better for having said it, and there ya go.
So, while I don't mind replying to you, I'm not sure just what we're debating. ;)
