One more thing about Trinity:
For all my complaining about the dialogue, and especially the dialogue during her death scene, I have to admit that she had the most poignant line in the entire trilogy. Right after Neo understands that she's dying, she tells him something to the effect of, "I've gone as far as I can go." That line summed up a lot for me, and I guess it made me a little bit misty for her character, because she's been there since before Neo even came along. She's worked so hard for Zion--probably all her life, kicked so much ass, and as a woman inside the story, her journey was tremendous. As a character, she's been with us since the beginning, too. That line, for me at least, meant that not only was Trinity's role over for Neo and Zion, but for us, too. Her character had gone as far as it could go. Isn't that sad?
