Of the good

Today at work we had our birthday party for the two Nancys (or is that Nancies?) and me. Ahhh, working with people you like, that is of the good! Not to mention free pizza and cake. :)

Also of the good is the fact that we, here on Long Island, had our first snowflurries of the year today. O_O Now wtf is that about? Right after our party, it just started coming down. We were like, "what the hell is this white stuff falling from the sky?" Which means it's going to be a really good winter. Last year our first flurries came on Nov. 2nd, and last winter rocked. Though I have to say--and this is strange coming from me--last winter went on just a bit too long. As hot and fun as this last summer was, I almost feel like it was too short, or didn't come fast enough. We didn't seem to have a Spring this year; we went from blizzards to swimming. I think it messed with me. And last winter's car-burying blizzards seem like only a few weeks ago.

That about wraps it up for our weather report. From there we move to sports.

Also of the good is the fact that Fatass Headhunter Roger Clemens's last starting game was a losing one for him. :) He gave up three runs in the first inning, and stood out there sweating and looking worried. Almost like someone was going to whip a 98 MPH speedball at his fat head! But...no... Anyway, I'm so glad his sloth-like, beanball playing, headhunting self will be gone from NY, even if it's not my team that's rid of him. (Remember: Mets fan here. Mets. Yes, I know we've sucked badly, but still. Mets.)

Also of the good: zip drives! Backed up a bunch of stuff yesterday. Thanks for the tip, minrho! And, as you can plainly see, I got a new keyboard. ^_^ So no more KDAFHSODIT~~~~999 )}(*+)(&u^% #wqjuOMFG!!!

Aaaaaand tomorrow's Friday and then Saturday is dance meeting and then a friend's party and then Sunday is the family b'day party for Chrissie, Tim and me. Promises to be fun.

Man, you guys are getting snow and here it's still near 70s in the afternoon. Can't say I mind it, though. ;) Happy Birthday to you, since as I write this it's the 24! Hope you've a blast and get lots of sugary foods and presents and good company. =D

it's just miserably cold here, without the snow..

didn't know you liked baseball.. I'm getting fond of it, watched countless matches when I was home for the summer because dad had 4 sports channels running. didn't get the names of any teams but hell it was exciting.

Baseball is exciting! It's the only game that I can get emotional over; it's always been that way for me. And it's an interesting love when you can say about your team, "God, but does this team ever suck!" and still love them so much. ^_^
