Well, as I joined this one community on LJ that really promises to be fun, I ought to commit to LJ. Just a little. And cause the new layout of Blogger keeps messing with my posts and double posting them. >_<

Yay, so glad to see you posting around here.

Miss you in pirategasm, though i totally grok the "RPF *vom*" reason for avoiding it. Though after the spate of initial RPF fics that popped up they have mostly all made off to comms with names like potc_rpf and such...now there's only maybe 1 for every 10-15 character fics posted.

Anyhow, dunno if you read my normal lj at all, but I went on a sailing trip recently and saw a ship named the Mahalo and thought of you. :D

How awesome! Actually, I've been away in Florida for a while, and then when I came back last week, things weren't going well. So I haven't actually been online much until this weekend. ^_^

Actually, i didn't take a camera. It was on a historic tallship, and i felt somehow anachronistically weird about having a camera along, so i took a sketchbook instead and did drawings of the other ships and lighthouses and the ports and cormorants, etc. Of course, my scanner's busted, but i'll scan it all in at some point! :D
