I will readily admit, I teared up when I saw it. I like to think Trisky's still around actually, hanging around her two stupid boys and making sure they don't get in too much trouble. :D

Oh, in more good-ish news, the vet called today. Haku's blood tests all came back within range, "excellent" they said. All except for his phenobarb levels, which were actually a tiddly bit low. Then Mom reminded me that they had skipped their breakfast in preparation for the blood tests, meaning that Haku skipped a phenobarb. While that does nothing to explain the first seizure he had a few days ago, it could explain this morning's. Guess I'll wait and see if he has another one.

If he does, at least the PB levels are low enough that I can play around with the dose a bit, to see if that knocks the seizures back for good.

Sano also had his leg examined. Some might remember that this is the exact same pattern I went through with Trisky: first the limping, trying to explain it away, etc. But she gave his leg a thorough exam, pressed on the bones everywhere, and deemed an x ray unnecessary. She's sure it's the old injury from the attack a few years ago, where his bone has long since been broken and never quite healed. (That's also thanks to my stupid ex boss, who didn't x ray him when the attack happened.) So he's on some rimadyl and ice for the soft tissue inflammation.

Hopefully this resolves itself again soon. :)
