So life continues to be strange.

Yesterday was pretty cool though. I was supposed to go into Chinatown with Gold Dragon and Snarklit, but that fell through. Instead, we all went to my place, hung out by the pool (I went swimming but apparently the water was too cold for the guys - hello it was 108 degrees yesterday,) and then the Dragon had to go to the bank before it closed. Snarklit and I went to see Karate Kid in the afternoon. Of course, this all came after about three hours of running from movie theater to movie theater to see when Karate Kid was playing, trying ti figure out where to go, what to do, what to eat, and all of this craziness.

Still, it was fun. Snarklit and I did Mah Jongg readings. He keeps getting the same cards. I read my own cards too, which were very eerie and described to the letter this family situation that's going on.

Anyway. So I go to train as I usually do, and hang out with my friends, and that all clears my head. We sparred, and then did weapons outside in the 100+ heat and humidity. It is as hot as Satan's ass, I must say. I love the heat, but honestly, today there was about an hour when even I was like, "Uhh, wow. Holy crap, it's super hot." I actually sweated. It's crazy. And not a drop of rain. This is August weather.

Over 9000 feet of snow in the winter, and over 9000 degrees in the summer. That's how it should be!
