I should add, Gran finally did go to the hospital. It got bad enough that even she asked to go; which is unusual for her. She'll probably be there for a while.
Meanwhile, earlier I wrote about that strange swelling on Haku that they thought was some kind of injury? It went down, and not a few hours after I wrote that entry, another huge swelling popped up on the other side.
He's seeing the vet tomorrow, so at least that will get looked at.
Tonight was the first thunderstorm of the season. Usually I love thunderstorms, but tonight I just didn't like it too much.

Date: 2009-03-30 04:04 am (UTC)It's so scary to read about your grandmother, I really hope that there is something that can be done to at least give her some relief. It must be so hard dealing with that worry as well as that for your dog, and to still keep going on with your trip and schoolwork.
Hang in there, Kapunua. I'm keeping you in my thoughts, and sending you whatever energy I can.

Date: 2009-03-30 06:01 pm (UTC)Even though Gran will be in the hospital for a while, and even though they seem to think that she does in fact have Alzheimer's, it looks like they will be able to give her at least some relief. Some of her worst problems have been pinpointed. That's a good thing.
Now, honestly, my main worry is my little puppy. He's just a baby. I want him around for at least another ten, eleven years.
