PROGRESS MUST END

Seriously, I have long since--LONG since--given up on the douchewhistle that half of this country put in office. I've seriously long since given up ranting on him, because it's clear to me that the dude can do nothing right, that everything he touches turns rotten, that he's a stupid, barely-talking monkey with his head embedded so deeply
into his own digestive tract that he can pretty much taste his own food before he even swallows it, honestly. I've given up.
And then sometimes I am violently reminded of one of the many reasons I feel this way, and my own anger burns me to ashes.
Oh, here's just a little excerpt:
"Bush announced no new federal dollars for stem cell research, which supporters say holds the promise of disease cures, and his order would not allow researchers to do anything they couldn't do under existing restrictions.
Announcing his veto to a roomful of supporters, Bush said, "If this legislation became law, it would compel American taxpayers for the first time in our history to support the deliberate destruction of human embryos. I made it clear to Congress and to the American people that I will not allow our nation to cross this moral line."
Since when does one guy--who is hardly able to, ya know, form coherent thoughts--decide for an entire nation what is "moral" and what isn't? I mean, I know I'm preaching to the choir and all, and the answer is clearly "since he got into office," but...
And then this, he says:
"Destroying human life in the hopes of saving human life is not ethical....
Okay, first lemme just say for the sake of argument, sure, we can for a second paint the entire world with one brush and say that destroying human life to save a different human life is not ethical. This does not speak to the subject at hand as we are talking about EMBRYOS and it is not up to YOU, you stuttering twat, to define an embryo as "human life."
Oh, and then there is that subject of your little war, which, ya know, destroys human lives in order to save other human lives, or so you have been saying for the last few years. Unless all of those people who have died in your simply adorable little war don't count as human lives?
Oh and, hey! Thanks for making America the most EPIC FAILURE at science and progress. PROGRESS MUST END.
The thing is, if I was even coming close to saying the things I wanted to be saying right now ... Well, let's just say that I like my blog, and I like my life being Secret Service-free, so I'm closing out this rant.

Those embryos are going to do nothing but be destroyed anyway, at least put them to good use. Not automatically... let the parents decide what they want done. But for God's sake, DO something.
Fucking retard. And WHERE ARE THE SCIENTISTS? Who the hell TELLS HIM SHIT?
