I didn't write too much today because I'm at a scene I don't quite like--it happens--and I'd rather skip it to get to the next part. Also, I had Tai Chi and Hula, then came home and did a bunch of chores and housework, and, well, made other excuses. ;) I got feedback like whoa at the writers' comm, though, and it was hugely helpful. Eye-opening, a little intimidating (as it always is to show one's work,) but mostly just greatly helpful.
What else did I do today? Scrubbed the tub, had some green tea, and took a bath. Hey, Jake Gyllenhaal is going to be on SNL tonight, so I'll be watching that. It promises to be interesting, at least. Tomorrow is dolphin team day. Yet another day of watching the darling go around in a circle. It's to the point now where I can't wait until she's gone. I'll miss her, but she'll at least be doing something other than playing with stupid toys I throw to her and swimming in a pool. At least it won't be like 30 below tomorrow, so there's that. The last time I was there I couldn't feel my toes.
Oh, I remember what I wanted to say! I watched The Illusionist the other night. I'd been looking forward to seeing that one since it came out, and I never got to the theater to see it. First let me say that I *heart* Edward Norton with a great and abiding passion, okay? But jeez, this movie was sort of a let-down. It was pretty, and the acting was good and all, but I saw the "twist" ending coming a mile away. I think that a lot of my disapointment with movies like this has to do with having been spoiled by The Usual Suspects. When The Big Reveal comes I'l usually like, "...and?" I mean, it wasn't a bad movie, just not as stellar as I thought it was going to be. Oh well.
I have some pics to whore share.
I know you all want to see my booty.

Okay, maybe you didn't want to see that. Yeah, we had a fun time on Friday.
How about this booty?

Come on, how hilarious is that? I showed that to everyone I passed, giggling like a moron. I got to Jenn J. and she commented, "You're such a child!" but she was laughing right there along with me, the hypocrite. ;D Our boss walked by as this was going on and just gave us a look like, "Ah, the usual." And kept walking.
There's nothing that can't be seen in a vulgar way.

Sadly, what I notice first about that photo is how streaky my window is because I have to mist some of those plants. I should get around to cleaning it.
You really just want to see my adorable bird.

He really is too cute. That window is dirty, too, because my birds like to fling their food and water around.
As is my little white dog.
