ACC and other musings
Apr. 21st, 2009 06:51 pmI downloaded Advent Children Complete! (Before anyone asks, I'm not buying it. Gerard Way is doing the new ending song and he doesn't get a penny frm me; sorry, but I try very hard not to fund anti-feminism or hate speech.)
Anyway! But I watched it without subtitles (not that it's too hard to understand the parts I haven't already seen; one gets the gist of it) and I watched bits and pieces. (I think I'll save watching the whole thing until I do get a subtitled version.)
My first and so far only thought is that it is so much bloodier and more gruesome than the original. The fight scene between Cloud and Sephiroth is brutal. I mean like, arterial spray brutal.
So of course I have screen caps!
( Clickitywhee! )
Yadda yadda yadda.
Probably more caps to come at a later time! :)
Iiiiiin other news I took both dogs (with the help of my Ma) to Petco today to give them a bath. It's only 10 bucks to do it yourself; well worth the price. Then I took Haku out on a jog with me.
Umm, I'm pissed because I won't have Gran's ring back in time for the memorial and that felt important to me.
I started re-watching Sorcerer Hunters and I watched a few episodes of Rescue Me and have slept until ten AM each day since vacation and I hope to do so until I'm not on vacation anymore.
Then two days after school starts so does my new job, did I say that already?
It's rained nearly all week, huge thunderstorm today, too.
Ano..... what else?
Oh! I remember. I had a dream I married Johnny Depp last night. It started out where he made a shift from movies to stand-up comedy. He was in a big theater and I was in the front row. I was pretty close to him and I could see he was wearing sparkly blue eye shadow and I thought it was kind of an unexpected look for him, but whatever.
A few minutes later he left his wife and then we were living together in a haunted house in upstate NY. The house was desolate and howling with ghosts. Johnny Depp got trapped in the attic and I went to get him out. By the time I got up there he had put on a few hundred pounds and couldn't get out the door. Also, he went bald. I felt bad for him and a little cheated, but I helped him to the window where he could look outside and wondered how either of us was ever going to get out of there.
Seriously people, what the hell.
