Last two nights I dreamed of Sehing Tristan. The first dream was completely bizarre. He was in trouble with Homeland Security for accidentally crashing a satellite onto the neighboring street. How Sehing Tristan crashed a satellite, I'll never figure out, but in the dream it didn't matter. People were chasing him and at first my cousin Chrissie and I were trying to hide him. But then he said that they would ruin his career no matter where he hid, and he had to give himself up. My Dad then told me that he knew some people in the government who could try to help him, who weren't involved in Homeland Security. As he was leaving to go to DC to talk to some people, he mused aloud that it was strange that Homeland Security was chasing down one of my friends, and I answered him, "That's because Homeland Security hates Hula dancers!" I was obviously still smarting over the broken statues.

(By the way, the airline has agreed to pay for the statues, as they are actually both broken; the kane dancer statue lost a finger, too. And I also discovered that a bracelet I had bought was broken, too, so they're paying for that as well.)

Then last night I had a dream that I was in class on Saturday, telling Sehing Tristan about my dream, only I was telling him in Hawaiian and making him guess what I was saying. Then I started to slip in some flirty lines, knowing he wouldn't understand them. It was pretty funny.

Yesterday I had to go out shopping because I had nothing in the house. (I always think that phrase is funny, as if there is literally nothing in my house, not even atoms, like my house is a black hole or something.) Anyway, I got my pictures developed, and while I was waiting and had finished shopping, I went to the bookstore because I like to hang out there when I have nothing else to do. I found this book: Capt. Hook. I was completely thrilled. I've always been half in love with Jas Hook, and have always deeply sympathized with his character. It's abotu time someone wrote a fanfiction novel about his early years. I started reading it last night, and so far it's engaging and weird. I like it.

Today, another day off, I cleaned all the bird cages and the entire kitchen, vacuumed, and started my laundry. Now I hope to find time to write more of my story instead of sitting around drawing things and making crappy, pointless animations. I know I should be working on my Halloween costume, too, but I just don't have the spit for it today.

The animal kingdom in my house is mostly doing all right. Haku has got diarrhea again, and Sano woke me up at 9 AM this morning by puking bits of Booda Bone on my rug. Pendragon still has the swelling on his tail, but I could swear it's smaller than it was. And two night ago I became obsessed with thinking that Trisky's ribs were different on one side than they were on the other, and wondering why it was. I even made her stand up so I could feel her ribs, wondering if she had some life-threatening thing that would change the shape of her ribs. I swear I need chemical help. >_>

Also, today I got a nice email from my lovely and wonderful friend Jonathan, or Jo-Nathan, or Nahalau. So, that was a very sweet surprise.

Ah, rain, rain...it's been raining for days, and it seems like it will continue to rain for days. The wind is fierce, too. I love it.

Hey, check it out, this is my Sifu's master, isn't that cool? Sifu was adopted by him, not in the usual legal sense, but more like in the Hawaiian sense when you hanai someone. We have a shrine to him at the school that we have to bow to. If you take the "About Master Chan Tai San" link, you'll see Sifu Gus's direct lineage. Isn't that so neat? That makes me feel totally priveledged to be studying with him.

The links on the page also have loads of info on the Lama Pai and Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu that we do at Green Cloud.

I really can't wait until I get good at it. Oh, and Chris got his blue belt. Wow, imagine that? It's, what, just over a year that he's been there? THere are people there who've been for years, and are still on yellow belt. Of course, we're never supposed to compare our advancements with those of other students, but it's hard not to notice how quickly this boy moves through the ranks. He's really incredible.

If you go to the Green Cloud web page, and go to "eZone" and chose eGallery, you can see pictures of Master Chan Tai San, Sifu Gus, and Sehing Adam (who is no longer at Green Cloud, sadly,) and Sehing Tristan. For the Sehing pictures, you'd have to chose "Mo Gwoon" from the menu under where it says "galleries."

Well, and that's Kung Fu news for tonight. Back to writing now, I think.
