e stim and heart murmur - Anon, I'm gonna say, this depends on what sort of murmur it is. I'm not sure I'd give my dog e-stim after finding out about the murmur, but he did have it before, and he is epileptic. Also, it might be different in humans.
how long does it take for milk thistle to work in dogs- With my dog, it took about a month, maybe a month and a half. And I can't even begin to tell you how HUGE a change it was. Saved his liver, seriously.

why let irene adler escape - Because Steven Moffat can't write women. In the book, no one "let" her escape, and furthermore, she didn't need to be rescued by a Big Strong Man. And furthermore, she outwitted Holmes, and he stayed outwitted. None of this "But since she's a woman (and even though she's a lesbian) she still fell in love with Holmes and he beat her after all, because women can't be smarter than men, I mean let's be realistic here!" nonsense. It's sad, when a Victorian writer is less sexist than one in 2012.
