I think people get so into the "this is my one chance to meet Frank!" space that tact and respect go out the window. They seem to forget that it's as much about him as it is about them, and that he might not have such an enjoyable experience. ANd that if he did run and tell his friends all about it they way they were going to, it wouldn't be such a fun story.
I have to say, I absolutely support Leathermouth's anti-government / anti-bush / anti-right wingtard stance. It is part of what draws me to them. :)
