Blather, rinse, repeat

It's always sad when you have to say goodbye to a loved pet. We had to put down the previous pair of cats a few years back (due to old age, and hence liver/kidneys/eyesight/everything going), and it was very strange coming home and not finding a cat running down the stairs to greet you. I still miss them.

Those ice storm pictures are really pretty. We don't really get ice storms in the UK (or proper snow in the south), instead we get a sort of cold grey damp sleet. I like the one of the fence with the coloured lights - looks like a net of diamonds or something.

Oh, something else - did you get the note I sent you through LiveJournal a while back? I've had someone ask if I can send them a copy of your Zelda fanfic, and wanted to check with you first.
