Do all crow babies have blue eyes? That's really cool. And I'm very glad he's improving for you. While part of me wants to hope you get your buddy, another part of me doesn't, which you already get. Even though losing them in any way is heart-breaking, it's still worth having them around for however long a time we're lucky to get. Good luck, chica.
