Thank you for watching! Yeah, O Pana Ewa is part of a much longer story, it is in fact a small piece of Hawai'i's hugest, most encompasing epic story, the love triangle of Pele, her sister Hi'iaka, and the beautiful chief / chanter / musician / dancer Lohi'au. ANy of the Hulas that relate to that story, I go all out. ^_^

The pu'ili can be used for 'auana and kahiko, just whenever it is appropriate. It's appropriate to this one because it's a battle song and it kinda looks like a weapon. ^_^
