Blather, rinse, repeat

In a strange way, I completely relate to what you're going through in your hula group. Some friends and I got together and started an alternative newspaper on campus, and it was great, but then this asshole came along and, just as you put it, "steamrolled" everyone else--those who had founded the thing! He somehow ended up with complete power and we were so disgusted by what happened that 9 of us quit. The five left over got to keep the name, but the work they put out is embarassing. I can't believe people like this exist.
