Like one year ago, I watched this program about BDD that Oprah did. To me it seemed like BDD is way beyond the usual 'oh-I-hate-my-nose' rut that everyone I know goes through at the bathroom every morning, because BDD actually prevents you from leading a normal life. In the most extreme cases people were afraid to leave their houses, because they had convinced themselves that they looked like monsters. There was this woman who had 28 plasctic surgery procedures done, she came on the show looking like barbie on crack. It was so sad. I totally agree on the ADHD thing, and I think the problem would really solve itself if parents didn't let their kids eat so much sugar. In many cases I think it could be that kids on a sugar rush are getting misdiagnosed.
