Rurouni Kenshin Gets New Anime

WHAT. WHAT. *sputterflail*

The widely popular franchise Rurouni Kenshin will get a new anime, according to the June issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine. This is a busy time for Rurouni Kenshin fans, as Blu-rays of the first two OVAs and the feature film are scheduled to hit stores between August and October -- as well as a new PSP game, Rurouni Kenshin, Meiji Kenkaku Romantan Saisen, which is already in stores.

The samurai story by Nobuhiro Watsuki originally debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1994; Viz Media is the North American publisher of the manga. More information about the new anime will be published in future issues of Jump Square magazine.

Of course, my first thought went to lisa_s. ^_^ And pretty much all my other fandom pals too.

Here is my new video at HitRECord! Tons of people have hit it, but only 2 people liked it and one was my Mom, haha. ^_^ I mean, like, people who usually rec my stuff looked at this and decided "nah."

So, it probably does suck in terms of real professional editing and such.

But *I* like it. In fact I think it's the best thing I've got up there. I spent a really long time on this one and I had so much fun doing it.

It's a video to go along with the poem I did about Camp Hero. I spent days traveling to Montauk and recording for this, literally over a month searching out archives and editing them into this. It was tedious, but fun, and I'm really pleased with this video. :)

That's why we hit record, after all! Mostly, it's for ourselves. ^_^
