How'd I miss this? A few days ago I was waxing squeeish over a guy that I seem to like, and I got this anonymous comment about how "looks aren't everything you know!" WOW. They're not? Until someone told me, I thought that they were! I've never talked to a guy in my life. I've just looked at them and based all my judgments on that.

I think it's funny that people assume that when someone is deemed attractive, they must be fashion-magazine-worthy. Does anyone take into account the fact that what I find attractive, maybe others would not? That I have, I dunno, my own particular taste that is as far away from, like, Brad Pitt or whoever is supposed to be hot, as you can possibly get?

Apparently it is wrong to try to get to know men I find attractive. I must have to LOWER MY STANDARDS and only look for guys that other people think I should date. Guys that I don't think are good-looking or something. Because they'll be good people, whereas men I think are attractive will automatically be "miserable."

I was also informed that people--men and women--with long hair are narcissists. I guess that includes me. Oh, wait – only when the hair gets a foot longer than what is deemed "normal." By whom? Well, I have no idea. I wasn't aware of this "over a foot longer than normal" rule of narcissism. Is that written down somewhere? I'd like an exact measurement, so that I can fit into this "not into myself" margin. I suppose that my dream of one day being a super-badass old lady with ridiculously long white hair (with a rope-dart spike at the end of it!) must perish. I'd hate to be thought of as "into myself."

I'm going to Mom's in a bit to re-watch Iron Man 1. If I start to think that Tony Stark is hot, I hope some anons will come and tell me to quit it. (Though actually Tony Stark does fit the "attractive but a prick" stereotype. Those work in, you know, stories sometimes. Stereotypes, I mean.)

You know what the weirdest aspect of that entry is? I never mentioned in that one that this guy has long hair. In fact the only time I mentioned it in an unlocked post was on April 15th, which was like a month or so ago. Someone pays an awful lot of attention.
