So you guys, check this out. I just got off the phone with NY College of health professionals.
Apparently I can whiz through a medical program there in three years, a few days a week (it is hellaciously far away, but manageable if it's only a few days a week,) in courses designed to let you work and study at the same time, or study and, goddamn it, have kids at the same time. Because I already have a minor background in medical biology I could possibly get through it even quicker, double up on some courses or lighten the work load.
Even better, they are starting a program that after you do your residency, if you so choose, you can do a sixth month course (in what they don't yet know, probably some sort of research,) and you will get your doctorate.
This means that if I went ahead and did this, then in less than four years I could be Dr. Jules.
WTF.
