So I'm stuck in my bra...

No, really. See I had a Dr. appointment today because of this heart-fluttery/tired thing I've had going on all summer and he's made me wear this halter-monitor, kinda like a portable EKG. But I guess he neglected to consider that I was wearing a sports bra, which you can't unhook in the back and have to slip either over your head or down your hips (yes, that's how totally SEXAY I am on a day to day basis; I'm sorry but those latch-y bras scratch me all up,) and he ran the wires this way and the other. And since I can't take the halter-monitor off till tomorrow, I'm effectively stuck in my bra.

I also had to take a whore's bath because I'm not supposed to get the befrigged thing wet. Well let me tell you, being super-flexible is not only healthy, it's practical, because I still managed to get clean without getting a drop of water on this contraption.

So I get to take it off tomorrow at the second appointment, and then Saturday I have to go to the lab for all this bloodwork. The thing that sucks most about that is that I have to fast for twelve hours. Uhh, yeah, I foresee that being a problem TBH.

I had to miss my first shift today because of the appointment, and I had some time between the appointment and my second shift at the sanctuary which I still went to, so I went to Micheal's to see if they had any good Halloween stuff and YES THEY DO. I know I mention this every year but it's true: Halloween is my Christmas. I spent like $50 on some really cool things to add to my graveyard scene that I like to do, one of which is this bust of a creepy little girl with fangs. I don't do "cute" Halloween, I do spooky, witchy, gothy Halloween. I usually have a problem letting go of summer, and I don't know why I'm not having it this year. I'm okay with fall coming, actually I'm looking forward to it. It's not that it wasn't a satisfying summer because it was. I got in some good summer parties and a few Hula shows. Not as many as I usually do, but a fair amount and they were pretty good shows. I saw some great bands, did Kung Fu with my training brothers and sisters outside in the blazing heat and humidity, even had a trip to break it all up. It was a nice summer but tonight is the first really chilly night and I kind of like it.
