So after a little KH2, I took the dogs out, made myself some chocolate covered strawberries, and sat down to watch A History of Violence. Which is great, you know, I like a little porn with my chocolate covered strawberries. Good stuff. Also, the movie was about something, I think.

In all seriousness, it was interesting for the most part. There were a lot of mistakes in continuity that I noticed (quick examples, Joey's hand gets cut on the wire at one point, and a minute later it's all better, also the sheriff takes Fogarty's driver's license when he stops him, and never gives it back.) And most importantly, why the hell does no one actually call the cops in this movie? Thugs are chasing people all over, going to the main characters' house, waving guns around, and Edie basically just hides and watches. Do they not have 911 in this world? That bugged me some. And why the hell does the media leave the Stalls alone after Tom cut for spoilers ) What, did they just move on to the next exciting thing?

This movie also had that "two different movies" feel that I seem to have seen a lot lately. I'm not sure I like it when movies do that. I like consistency in tone and mood.

It was a great idea, though, and I quite liked the violence. And stuff. ^_^;;
