More on Kung Fu
Jan. 2nd, 2006 11:13 pmIn my f-locked post, I wrote all of the awesome yet oddly personal stuff that went in in blackbelt club tonight. Here's what else happened.
Lee and I did some stances with the staff, which was a first for both of us. We just did stances with the staff for about a half an hour. I won't be able to walk tomorrow. While we were doing that, Sifu was teaching Chris and Erica this sword form that was beautiful. I totally cannot wait to learn that. At first I had my pee all in a dazzle just because they put a staff in my hand; I was completely thrilled. But then I couldn't keep my eyes off the gorgeous motions of the sword form. Like most geeks, I am enamoured of swords and I adore swinging one around. Observe:

(Those are actually from yesterday, when Jeremy and I were goofing off in the cemetary and making a movie. More on that in a later post.)
One fine day, Sifu is going to put a sword in my hand and teach me how to really use it. Afterwards, when I'm done with the paroxysms of joy and can actually type, I'll blog about that, too.
