Holy mother of crap. The new trailer for Dirge of Cerberus (today) just about made me wet my pants. It's beautiful. There is apparently a lot of stuff about Vincent's past in there (god help me, I almsot wrote "pants",) not to mention we get to see Vincent transform, OMG, as well as a few scenes of Cid, and, holy crap, Reeve brandishing a gun.
There are also some new scans showign Lucretia, and that's completely to the awesome, because I loves me some backstory. One confusing thing, though, is that the scans seem to show Vincent as he is now, but still in the presence of Lucretia. That made me to WTF, because she pretty much lives in a cave and is mental, I thought
Dirge of Cerberus is sex. I'm going to play the crap out of this game when it comes out.
In other fangirlish news, am I the only one who's noticing that the American release date for Advent Children is now January 10th, 2010? Is someone effing with me or what? Because that blows a whole truckload.
In the real world, today Casse gave me my prezzie, and it is a T shirt that reads, "My lips hurt real bad". How awesome is that? Not everyone got it, of course, but that's all right, too.
I was supposed to be off the entire day tomorrow, but Casse has a dentist appointment at 11 or so, so I've got to go in at 10:30 ish until she comes back. That's not so bad, though. It is my usual day to work anyway. Hopefully I will get home in time before everyone comes over, so that I can clean the birdcages and vaccuum the damn floor. Then, as the kids are also coming over tomorrow, I guess I'll make some gingerbread cookies. We had those at Erica's house and they were delish. I might be addicted.
Oh, I saw Lao Shir today, too. It was an odd thing, because I was just telling Donna, Casse and Kelly about the story she told me about Sifu, when he broke the spear on his neck on opening day (funny story, not sure I can repeat it here, though,) and just as I was finishing the story and lowering my obnoxious cackle because I heard the front door open, she walked in. So we chatted for a while about Kung Fu and practising the horse stance and all of that. I told her that I'd gotten into blackbelt club and she said to me, "That's great. This is where you'll get all the really intense conditioning." Which, oddly, wasn't intimidating at all, but encouraging. I actually can't wait.
Holy crap my brain just finished book two of my story and began the theme of the third. Must go.
