Dec. 11th, 2004 12:23 pmLast night we had our annual office Christmas party. This was absolutely the most swinging, dancing party we've had, probably ever. Seems like Jen and Keith's wedding changed everything about how we get together. We discovered that we like to dance, and we're not afraid to go out and be morons on the dance floor with each other. Our boss rented Atlantica for the night. It's usually for weddings (and you can bet that if someone ever has the good sense to marry me I'm ever lucky enough to get married, this is where I'd choose for a reception.) We did our usual (not so) Secret Santa, and dinner was fabulous. There was a pool table, and Casse, Donna, Nicole and Amanda played for the frist two hours or so.
And then, of course, we danced. Poor Dr. Dan, he's the only guy man enough to get on the dance floor, so he's up to his neck in chicks all trying to dance with him at once. ;)
Pictures soon, I hope!
There's another party tonight, and I was going to go to it, but after last night's dancing I'm having a rough time standing for too long and I still have all of thise housework to do today. It's going to take me forever, having to sit down every few minutes.
I was talking to Nancy yesterday at work after hobbling around all day with the big, clunky knee brace on, and she asked whey I hadn't gone to the doctor yet. I told her that basically I thought the only thing they could tell me was that I would need surgery again and I wasn't in the mood for it. Then she pointed out that, hey, retard, maybe if you do something about it now before you totally frig it up again, you won't end up needing surgery. And even if they took one look inside my leg and said that I should have surgery again, I could always tell them no if I really thought I didn't need it.
Also, I'm a dancer. If I don't take care of these things while I can, it can only go really badly for me when I get older. So I will go to the doctor and maybe for another MRI, but not until after Christmas! Hopefully before the next big seminar in February, though.
