I released most of my babies today: Cloud, Raistlin, Dalamar and Usher. I tried to release Leon, but he took a crash landing into the honeysuckle, then into the curly willow where he promptly got tangled. I pulled him out and put him back into the aviary. I know the other babies are doing well out there (even though I can't help but wonder what they're doing at this moment--probably sleeping, is my guess,) but I think Leon is lonely now. I have to do something for him. I don't know what the heck to do with this weird little bluejay! But at least he's safe and fed, and I don't have to worry that he's too retarded to care for himself in the wild. For now, that's good enough.

On a different note, tonight I watched Permanent Midnight, because, hey, Owen Wilson is in it. (Not nearly long enough, though.) I watched it for Owen, but I was pretty shocked by Ben Stiller, whom until tonight I'd only seen in comedies. (Though I knew of this movie long before I knew him as a comedian--this movie came out in video when I worked at Blockbuster years ago.) He was actually really, really good. I was surprised, not only that he was such a good dramatic actor, but that he had so many sex scenes in it. Remarkably, he looks like he's pretty decent at it, too. O_o

I'm running out of films with Owen Wilson in them. I watched I Spy the other night. It was cute, but kinda dumb. Worth it, however, just to note that Owen Wilson seems to be getting more boyishly handsome as he gets older. What the hell is that about?
