Okay! Things have been pretty sucky, but a few of them are looking up. Good vibes needed. Please fax them over to me. :)

So I'm out Christmas shopping and I'm at Hot Topic and, yay! They have the cat ears that my goddaughter Meghan has been looking for for nearly a year now. The guy at the register looked so very, very much like a younger Joaquin Phoenix that I must have been very obvious in my double-take when I saw him. So I said to him, "Do you know who you look like?" And before I even finished the question, he was nodding, like, "yeah, I know what you're going to say." So I told him anyway: "You look just like Joaquin Phoenix." He said, "Yeah, I get that a lot." I told him, "I'll bet you do," and he said, "Well, thank you!" "You're welcome," I said. "That's a good thing."

He was oh-so-cute with his red fuzzy hat.

So I have most of my Christmas shopping done. My two best girl friends are coming over tomorrow night for Pirate Night, and then we're having our Christmas party next week. O_O WTF? I'm going to see my friends two nights in two weeks? That's unheard of! Especially this close to the holidays!

Now to see if my two best online girl friends are in chat tonight. We have much gossip. :)
