Yeah you know what, I signed up for all of those "twitter alternatives" but the thing that seems to be the pattern is that "alternatives" never pan out, otherwise DW would have.

Tumblr is still good! But it doesn't have that community capability that LJ had.

The only thing that really does actually is discord.

I wonder why we as a whole just abandon usable things?
