It's weird and stupid how the brain works. I know logically that there is no cause and effect to things like this, yet I can't disconnect them and I can't make myself not think it or not act on it.

And that "you only get a certain amount of luck" thing is such a bitch because it's so not true. I know it's not true, yet I'm not going to tempt any fates or anything, either.
