Blather, rinse, repeat

Getting to this late, but I'm actually not that happy that they're doing it. Not because I dislike FFVII or anything, but because given Square's recent direction I'm worried that they're going to go the wrong way. As in, they've discovered that their graphic realism makes them go all grim and gritty and try and do things in 'dark' sort of way, and I just think it's not going to go that well.

Basically, after the recent downward spiral I'm more worried that what people hope will be a second coming of FFVII will be a second coming of Advent Children, but possibly less coherent (as they remove everything that could lighten the mood and try to fill in the holes that opens in the plot).
