So many things in this entry make me happy! New, life-affirming jobs are such an uplifting change. It's really important to like what you do (and where you do it!). And HAKU! I'm happy for him. :)
Are you familiar with the story behind the proverb 'this too shall pass'? I try to keep it in mind when life is particularly trying. I used to struggle with, like, situational depression, and really the only way I could struggle my way through those situations was to remind myself that it wasn't going to always be like that. And I also have 'my entire town has not been washed away by a tsunami and then irradiated' moments, too, when I feel myself getting a little too whiny. It's really not as bad as we think it is, most of the time. We just get stuck in the centre of it and can't feel our way out to the edges anymore.
I am so impressed by what you're doing with hitRECord. Like, yeah, so a little but of it is how I'm still a little star-struck that you're basically talking to JGL and making stuff with him? But I'm also just always really impressed when people I know are Making Things and Getting Recognition.
