Preliminary sketch, the first of a series I hope to actually finish someday. For those of you who are just vomiting over the idea that I might be posting another pointless character sketch and have already decided that you're not even going to look at it (most of you, I suspect,) well, this is different.







He's not supposed to be an anthro either, for godsakes. More like a spirit, like you might see in PetShop of Horrors. I was chatting with my Mom last night and I said that I'd been thinking about drawing all of my animals as a kind of fanciful spirit, like Count D would see. My Mom was all about the idea and thought it was pretty cool.

I've been staring at this thing with all the vines and lines for like two hours and I can hardly even see it anymore, so I'm not even sure if I like it yet. All I know is that it was complicated as hell to do all of this stuff.

I've been wasting time today lounging sick at home (payback for the insane amount of skiing last weekend) and started reading Rose's (AKA the Majackal Fae(ther)~Brain Diva) friends' jornals and got to this entry (url=http://princesstanya.livejournal.com/119257.html), which I thought might amuse you.

Now, I am not sending this because I think of myself as some "hound of justice" or anything but because I am sure you'd be tickled to learn that you are "the ringleader" of the horrendous harrassment heaped on poor, angelic Rose and possibly, by association, guilty of everything bad in the world - especially princesstanya's loss of $20. I foresee a mob of kitschy glitterati with maypole-ribbon adorned crosses in your future (read the comments).

I'm not gonna post this in the thread because I know how misguided some forum newbies are but you go on, enjoy yourself.

Awesome! I love being the ringleader! ^_^ I wonder why it is always me, though? I guess I just have natural leading abilities. ;D

I know. I'm offended. There are at least a few more of us who are just as vocal about their amusement with Rose. Why would princesstanya pick you?

Maybe it's because my forefathers were barbaric asians and drunken slavs. I am not worthy of royal attention. Was your gran a Cherokee princess perhaps?

OMG maybe I am SPESHUL! My Gran wasn't a Cherokee Princess... She was a Cherokee GODDESS. srysly, she came from a lake (she was a WATER FAIRY INDIAN) and then a pirate captain kidnapped her and they fell in love! And made lots of otherwordly babies that I AM DESCENDED from. Sadly my Cherokee Goddess grandmother died, in fact she was killed by her Indian Father for marrying a white man! Even though she didn't WANT to marry him but you know sometimes getting raped can be fun as long as it is romantic enough, and she grew to like it in time. Anyways her father threw her into a chamberpot (they didn't really have toilets back then, LOL) and there her spirit remains to this day, protecting other Cherokee Goddess Descended girls from a similar fate. But fortunately the OTHER fragment of her soul (the one not still in the chamber pot with the protecting and all of that?) got reborn ... in ME! Which is why my eyes are the color of the delicate blue Victorian flowers painted on the side of the chamber pot, but when I get mad ... they turn PURPLE.

So really I think that PrincessTanya is just jellus.
