So like I finally heard your boys, or at least finally heard and realized they were the people you were squeezing. How unfair is it that someone already an accomplished actor sounds so damn good? The Kill's the only one I've heard; are they all that good and hard rock sounding?

I'm so glad! Yes, Le Jared has more than his fair share of talent. On the first album (self titled,) he played every instrument except for the drums, and it's brilliant. I swear in his next life he's going to be ugly and stupid. ;)

To your question, both albums are incredible, and kind of a mix of progressive / full-on hard rock. The self titled is a little more hardcore, musically. "A Beautiful Lie" has I guess two songs on it that are pretty mellow and very The Cure influenced. (I skip over both of them because I never liked The Cure, even. Blaspheme!) And one Bjork cover, too.

I mostly love this band because until I heard them, I'd forgotten how good it felt to love hard rock music. also because they are insanely funny

ETA: If you haven't seen the video for The Kill, do see it. It's hilarious, spooky, and just plain loads of fun. Moreso if you've seen The Shining a billion times. ^_^
