Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. I finished it last night and it was very satisfying. He has a voice that I always find myself copying even if I don't mean to, after I read his work.
But the story really engaged me, not only because he's this obviously crazy-engaging writer, but because it was so eerily similar to some aspects of my life that at points I had to go back and re-read and go, "Really?"
