When we got Keely, my older dog Kenzie was really excited. "Oooooh, what IS it?" He followed her around and wagged his tail a lot for a couple days, but after that he started giving us these looks like, "Okay, I'm done, you can take her back now."
He likes her well enough these days, and sometimes they play rough together and chase each other around the house, but other times he just wants to be left alone. She absolutely dotes on him though.
I wonder how your dogs will react in the long term to their new housemate.
