How can you do an X Files movie and not bring Krycek back from the dead.

They brought him back for the series finale, they could have dragged his corpse out for the movie!

All in all it was wild, mad preposterous, fun, gross, and occasionally funny. In short, watching the X Files movie was like watching an extra long, MOTW, NON myth-arc episode.

I admit that I didn't watch the last season because Mulder had left. Nothing against Dogget, it's just that it wasn't X Files anymore. I watched the series finale but skipped everything else, so I have no idea what became of their son William or anything like that. That part confused me.

Other than that, I was down with it. I got fangirlish when the opening theme played. I squealed with delight and almost jumped up when Skinner showed up! I awwwed at the Skinner/Mulder pieta moment. I still want to wake up one morning and be Agent Scully. I LOLed at the gag on Bush.




Here's another weird thing! When Mulder is going through his cell phone numbers, presumably to call Scully, he very obviously scrolls down to the name Gillian and starts to hit send.
WTF?

Anyway, it was loads of fun, and I will for sure break out my old X Files tapes to watch later. :D

Btw, I don't think that was gillian, it was Gilligan, as in Vince Gilligan, the shippy director. Right below that was spotnitz (Frank) :)

I stayed till after the credits and then the projector shut down and the lights came up. O_o During the credits, however, was the really cute scene where it goes from ice to trees to water and then Mulder and Scully on a boat and they wave to you. That was awesome. ^_^
