Good luck with the fest and getting back to your 'happy place'. And while I really don't know your friend or the situation, it sounds like he hasn't resolved his issues at all and would've done the same in the end. I do hope he does and you can go back to being friends (if you still want to), and wtf? to the whole having to devote all your time to someone to still be friends. Doesn't make any sense to me, but then again people have accused me of being the cold-hearted bitch queen, though thankfully no one that I would consider a friend.
