I've taken a shine to gardening recently too, or rather, I should say, the desire to take a shine to it, without much time or function habit yet. Growing up my mom had a massive garden that wrapped around the house. Even in her recent apartment, the patio overflowed with plants. I just have a little rocky front yard, so far, but the two bushes from the previous occupants I am delighted to find, are indeed roses. One even started to bloom, but avast! I have aphids.
